The book cover design is a response to a live brief I did with Thames & Hudson while studying for my MA at the University of Brighton.

I combine archaeological layers with a piece of cake to represent the idea of digging up the history of food (cake) culture.

In the second design, I juxtapose different types of spoons to illustrate the idea of exploring food cultures across various times and locations.
