Letters of Hope is a 36-page first-person picture book. It explores quiet resistance to loss and grief through a young girl compiling letters for her missing friend.
The project was initially a response to the picture book workshop hosted by the National Human Rights Museum in Taiwan. Informed by the history of Taiwan's White Terror period, I aim to transform the heavy atmosphere into delicate, nostalgic illustrations that resonate universally.
